Recognize, assess, defuse

Serious and targeted acts of violence are often the sad culmination of a protracted conflict, during the course of which, signs could have been detected in many cases. The aim of threat management is to recognize such acts of violence and to defuse them with appropriate measures so that serious crimes can be prevented.

Threat management is active in the following areas:

• Threats of violence
• Threatening and/or obstructive behavior
• Domestic violence
• Stalking
• Extremism and radicalization

The Cantonal Threat Management also acts as a link between private individuals, offices, authorities, and institutions.
